League Game vs Villa Park Blacks

Another great game today where we welcomed over Villa Park Blacks. It was end to end stuff at times, with some great football played from both teams. We really enjoyed this one and could see the boys were too.

Clarkston started the game very well and positively, playing our style of football, and a few of our goals actually come from us playing out from the back, which is most pleasing to see. The boys have battled  hard and left everything out on the pitch. Some of the one touch passing and movement was top drawer and also we can now see the boys are learning when to put their foot on the ball and control the game. Another game where we have created loads of clear-cut chances and the opposition goalkeeper has played an absolute blinder and stood up to the test.

We asked the opposition coach to choose a POTM, they chose Max. He said he worked hard for his team and was a menace up front. The coaches POTM went to Leo, his attitude, effort, and positivity were clear to see, I think he covered every blade of grass today for his team. Well done, boys.
