League Game vs EK Colts Yellows

An outstanding team performance!

Today on a feezing cold morning we welcomed over EK Colts Yellows over for this weeks league match, and it turned out to be a really entertaining match with both teams trying their best to play tjeir type of football.

From a Clarkston point of view, a far cry from last weeks game, our boys have turned up this morning ready to go and they have done that right from the start of this game. Their attitude, efort and energy was top class, along with the hardwork this week in training paying dividends for each of them.

Really pleasing to see some excellent team goals scored starting from our own half and breaking at speed, with the quality of pass and distribution being excellent. Also, very impressed with how the boys have pressed and hunted to get the ball back when they lost it, top stuff all brought from the training field onto the playing pitch today.

Forgot to ask the opposirion coach for a POTM today so we chose 2. First one went to Taryn for his positive and commanding display in goals today, his play out from the back and drop of the shoulder twice to beat the striker were awesome and something we have been working with Taryn, the other POTM went to Oscar Brook for his composure and work rate up front, some real quality finishing and also good to see him getting stuck in to start the teams press too. Well done boys.
