League Game vs Claremont Reds

Today, we welcomed over Claremont Reds, and we saw another great game with both teams playing exciting attacking football, brave defending, and outstanding goalkeeping saves, too.

From our own point of view, the attitude, effort, and energy shown were top class. The character, personality, and togetherness from the team to get back into this game is something I was really proud of. Well done, boys.

The boys have shown great belief in what they have learnt in training this week. Our football today was up there with the best I've seen us play. We looked organised and got back into playing our style of football. Some of the 1 and 2 touch the boys played were excellent to watch.

As usual, we asked the other teams coach to choose a POTM, and they chose Ozzy, saying he did really well in defence, and some of his passing was excellent. The coaches POTM went to Taryn today, his attitude was spot on, worked his socks off in the middle of the park, commanded his area in goals brilliantly and made some crucial saves to keep us in the game. Well done, boys
