League Game vs BSA Gold

Today we were on our travels to Blantyre back into league business against BSA Gold and what a really competitive game this turned out to be.

The game saw us up against it in the first half and conceeded a couple of goals althought we always looked a treat going forward with the BSA goalkeeper making some top saves, half time saw us a couple of goals down but that never dampened the spirits of our boys who were determined to turn this game around.

The second half started similarly to the first with us defending well but the boys managed to figure out how to turn the game into our favour. We then we saw them put in a great effort to take our game and principles into their play and turned the game around with BSA struggling to cope with our pressing and speed of play with their goalkeeper making some outstanding saves to keep them in it.

We are extremely proud of the way the boys have turned this one around when they were really up against it, everyone of them have contributed to todays game in some way that has benefitted the team, their attitude, effort and energy was top class. That second half was something special to watch. 

We asked the BSA coaches to chose a POTM and they have chosen Leo today, the coaches POTM went to all of the other players within the squad a top team performance, well done boys.
