Back into league duty for the boys today, we welcomed over Blantyre Vics Blues, and it turned out to be a really good game, both teams playing some excellent attacking football.

We struggled a bit to get going today, but we grew into the game, scored some good goals, and saw some brave defending and great saves from our GKs, too. Overall, not a bad first game back into the league, but still plenty work to do from a coaching point.

We could see that its been a tough week for the boys getting back to school, playing Thursday night and then back to playing on a Saturday morning, and to be honest we couldn't ask anymore of them, they have been great the last few weeks and have excelled in all they have been asked too. None of them should feel downhearted at all.

Today, Ben was on POTM duties, and he chose Caleb, we could see why he made the decision, too. Caleb was solid today and is really making good strides in nailing down that CDM role. Well done, Caleb.
