League Game vs Airdrie CC Reds

We welcomed over Airdrie CC Reds over to our home pitch today and what a well contested game we saw with both teams having a right good go at winning the game.

Our Clarkston boys have given everything to this game, their attitude, effort and the energy they have brought today was incredible. From really brave defending to attacking at speed we have saw another top team performance from everyone of them.

The boys have dug deep in their efforts and stuck to our principles of play in this game when we could have been drawn into the oppositions style of play, which was really pleasing to see. We can see they are picking up the style of play we have been working on in training. Top stuff.

As usual we asked the opposition coach to choose a POTM and they have decided on Caleb for his non stop battling to win most of his duels and his positive play. The coaches POTM went to Adam this week, we were really impressed with Adam today, very positive in his play, his desire up and down that wing to attack and defend in great to watch and on another day we would see him finish with a few goals to his name. Well done, boys.

Thank you to everyone for their support today, great to everyone taking part in parents penalties at the end too, really shows how much of a community we all are together.
