Friendly vs Mill United Whites

This week we invited Mill United over for a friendly match and they have shown us what it takes to play at the intermediate ability level with quality play all over the pitch.

The Colts boys have tried their best to match Mill United all over the pitch and the opposition goalkeeper has commanded his area well and has made some outstanding saves to keep his team in the game. On another day our boys would have scored a few more.

Its good to play these games to challenge our boys to help them develop their resilience skills and raise their ability level. We just need to stick with the process and keep working hard in training to get to where we fully believe the boys can get too.

The opposition coaches POTM went to Ollie, the coaches praised his work in defence and his attitude to never give up. Our coaches POTM went to Ozzy, his communication and composure to find a forward pass to his team mates was great. Well done boys.
