Friendly vs Dunipace FC

Tonight, we welcomed over Dunipace FC from Denny in what turned out to be another physically challenging exciting game with both teams giving it a right good go to get a foothold in the game.

Our boys took a bit to get used to Dunipace style of play and got drawn into visitors game early in the first half, then once we figured it we found our way back into the game, and alot of credit goes to the boys for trying to stick to the way we want them to play, we created enough chances but were unlucky not to find the finish at times.

Playing friendly games against teams who play different styles are great experiences for our players and sometimes they demand different attributes, from being physically strong and resilient to remaining positive and working hard, all skills required in everyday life and I honestly think the boys gave their all and showed they attributes when the could. This was a completely different environment for our boys to experience, and its a great development opportunity for all of our players and will help them along the way.

We now pick ourselves up, get back onto the training pitch Friday, and prepare to go again. I'm fully confident that this group of players will be ready to go again on Saturday.
