Friendly vs Calderbraes Blue

Another good test for our boys again tonight against another really good team.

We thought at times that our boys showed Calderbraes too much respect and allowed them to control the game in the first half. Second half saw a response after we challenged the boys to get closer to them and squeeze the game together, where we managed to get some rewards for our hard work and we actually thought our boys were the better side once we closed the spaces off.

Great effort and attitude from everyone as usual. The fight shown to keep going in games is very admiral and shows our boys never say die attitude and how close we are as a team.

Can see we are heading in the right direction development wise, but still work to do on the training pitch to get to the next level, and we coaches will take that on the chin and get the boys working on those areas.

No POTM tonight as all the boys did their bit when they needed to. Wouldn't have been fair to single one player out especially when they all accepted the challenge to get stuck in for the second half.
